Bedwood Hostel

LikedIt is interesting. We chose this type of accomodation as an experience and the price wasn’t much bad, so why not? It is a capsule, nothing much to say.

DislikedThere was no place to store our luggages, if you don’t wanna leave it inside the capsule. In our ‘room’ we found used chewing tobacco under the mattress and one of the USB ports wasn’t working. The window in a shared bathroom was unable to close, so it was really chilly inside. And the best for the end - the receptionist. Yes, she explained us quite everything, but as we wanted to ask her for some more informations, she was still on a phone with a friend, which I think is kinda rude. there were several awkward situations idk who was talking to.

LikedA capsule gives intimacy that standard hostels do not have. Great localization! In the very centre of Copenhagen near the canal which is the landmark of the city.

LikedThe hotel locates so close to Nyhamn, easy to find something to eat, nice staffs.

DislikedI had the problem about the light in my capsule. They worked only one light. The toilet and bathroom quite small.

LikedThe location is excellent. Hot water was provided for tea if you request it. Internet worked fine.

DislikedWe didn't like the capsule concept. No common place to chill. No kitchen. No nothing. Not enough toilets and showers for the amount of capsules. Even the employees were complaining about the manager of the place. They started a construction to put more capsules were there was the reception and bar. Noise and workers all around. Impossible to be there.
